Advice on blocking something

Postby oliver » Fri Jan 29, 2016 10:40 pm

Hey guys!

Take a look at those two URLs please (no virus, no huge shit):
http://gallery-dump.istadin.co/
http://gallery-dump.istadin.co/forum/vi ... start=3020

Sync'ed by just a few hours difference.
I can't say I like that.

I'm trying to block this.

Would you think it is enough, to resort to blocking them by .htaccess, with:
order allow,deny
deny from istadin.co
deny from 77.81.110.230
deny from gallery-dump.istadin.co
allow from all

Or - here begins my REAL - question, please, would there be other hostnames or IP numbers to block ?

Thoughtful advice is welcome :)

Thats a interesting way of copying a site.

page source code has

<meta name="juicyads-site-verification" content="a2835461b1f10ee7c5a0e6d6286d44b0">
<img src="/stat_icon.gif" alt="counter"><script type="text/javascript" src="/jquery.1.73.mini.js"></script><div class="random_links">
<a class="random_links_item" href="http://img100-040xvideos.istadin.co">img100-040xvideos.istadin.co</a><a class="random_links_item" href="http://img100-134xvideos.istadin.co">img100-134xvideos.istadin.co</a><a class="random_links_item" href="http://img100-703xvideos.istadin.co">img100-703xvideos.istadin.co</a>
</div>
</body>

When you click on of the xvideo links in the page source it brings up this

<script type="text/javascript" src="http://ziiporn.com/js/im/splash.php"></script><script language="JavaScript" src="http://ziiporn.com/js/duei.js"></script><!-- Start JuicyAds Float Ad --><script type="text/javascript">juicy_adzone = '452527';</script><script type="text/javascript" src="http://adserver.juicyads.com/js/jfc.js" charset="utf-8"></script><!-- End JuicyAds Float Ad --><h1>403 Forbidden</h1>
Request forbidden by administrative rules.
<meta name="juicyads-site-verification" content="a2835461b1f10ee7c5a0e6d6286d44b0">
<img src="/stat_icon.gif" alt="counter"><script type="text/javascript" src="/jquery.1.73.mini.js"></script><div class="random_links">
<a class="random_links_item" href="http://fakethebitch.istadin.co">find,</a><a class="random_links_item" href="http://rastplatz-sex.istadin.co">rastplatz-sex.istadin.co</a><a class="random_links_item" href="http://teenmodels.istadin.co">teenmodels.istadin.co</a>
</div>
</body></html>

I have no idea if you can block the script from that.

Me, I'm not getting that source code O_o Good job Doc!

Perhaps it could be possible to make, by htacces, refuse to load the contents if it originates from a particular domain ?

No idea...

That's greasy. I had a guy rip the look of my tube site, logo and everything. He then bought advertisements on my website and made it look like the ad was part of the site, when they clicked on the add they went to a site that looked exactly like mine with all of his ads.

I don't see why htaccess blocking wouldn't work, as long as he's ripping your site from that ip. Would be easy for him to get around though. Might be playing whack a mole until he gets tired.

Yeah, well, I added this code to my website's htaccess, and it didn't do shit :D

I'm really wondering how it works...

Well, Gd, precisely, I don't understand how it works. Since we see no trace of the code that has been used, all I can tell is that it is a script language that is executed server-side, probably PHP.

If I understood, I'd be hyper glad to fix it, mates.

I checked the juicyads publisher profile behind it, there are also the

bibic.co
groamon.co
domains, and, although that one covers a smaller range,
mtbe.biz

Honestly, I find it scary. It would be EXTREMELY easy to pretend to be a real website, like that, with an interface that doesn't scream to be an ad whore :(

Take it an extra mile and report him to ad companies as steeling your site? Maybe they'll cut off his funds?
