So it appears that one of my servers has been down for a few days although I only realized it yesterday, normally I have a script that sends me updates about my sites when they are down however the server that went down actually was the one that performs these actions checking on the other file servers. I cannot ping the thing and I've tried a remote reboot with no luck and immediately submitted a ticket with my hosting provider.
What, in your opinion, is an acceptable amount of time to wait for a ticket response from your hosting provider? I'm sitting at 24 hours now since they've told me they received my ticket and will look into it. No further follow up. That's pretty weak if you ask me. If the thing is fucked or you have no idea what's going on, you could at least give me an update.
24 hours to me is simply unacceptable, if this were actually a larger operation and not primarily used by myself for my visitors this would be the type of thing that would drive a business into the ground and kill sites.
Am I losing my cool too soon?

Re: ImgSwift Server Down Time
I use a small guy and he usually responds within 3 hours if it's during working hours. Luckily we're in the same time zone.
