Hello everyone,
It has been a few days that I can't post any gallery on GalleryDump.com. What's happening?
Every time I try to post something, I see a message like this:
Error connecting to the main antispam checking database, please hit gd@gallery-dump.com with an email if that problem lasts for more than a pair of hours, THANK YOU !!
Please do not forget to tell us your IP number in that email, you can find it on whatsmyip.net.
UPDATE : there is a problem for the moment if you are behind an IPV6 address, you will be wrongly blocked. In the short term - the issue is fairly more complicated that it looked at first -, I would then recommend that you use a proxy, for the moment, sorry about that !
Here is the complete error message to report :
String could not be parsed as XML
I already tried to contact the e-mail, but I get no reply at all.
Anyone can help me? Much appreciated!

What are you trying to post? post it in a code box on here please.
Re: What's happening with Gallery Dump?
You're branded with an IPV6, most likely.
More and more people have an IPV6, but sadly the antispam engine of gallery-dump uses, among other things, an API that only checks IPV4s, discarding the other ones.
Blacklisting IPs is cool, but now that obtaining a new IP is practically costless (IPV6s can be purchased by the thousand), it's becoming pointless.
Worse than that if it's not an IPV6, the engine frequently fucks up, stops halfway, returns invalid incomplete data... So, yeah, it's a pain in a part of the anatomy usually not blessed with sunlight.
I'll turn it off for a week, let's see if there's too much bot-generated spam or not.
(last time I tried, there was a whole lot more, sigh.)

Saw your mail about it one minute ago. That freaked me out, I checked the website: OK, only you are having it, phiew
(no hard feelings, allright!)
The standard tests:
- with another IP ?
- take two other picture dumps, click to view their source code, take the html, combine them and try to submit it as a new dump: are you still blocked ? If yes, it's your PC/browser
- clean your own dump code, no formatting at all except for p /p, no title= alt= width= height=, never single quotes (well, that problem was fixed a long time ago, but, still, doubles quotes FTW)
- optionally, try with something else than wp-content/uploads (you can create a symlink for it and search-and-replace wp-content/uploads in your dump code for something else if that was the cause of the problem)

About captchas, I suspect there's a part of human-based captcha breaking, maybe Indians or Chinese paid in bulk, who knows

Hello oliver,
Thanks for your reply. I'm having the same problem even after running all your suggested tests.
Here is an example of code I'm using, as you can see.. it's completely clean!
http://notepad.cc/hakaumo89
Unfortunately I can't change the image path, but the most weird part is that I always posted on GD with this HTML format and never had any issue.
I even tested with BBCode instead of HTML but had the same problem: blank page on new5.php (http://www.gallery-dump.com/new5.php).

Re: What's happening with Gallery Dump?
And it's happening since I removed the previous IP detection script, you're sure ?
Well, it's strange as I did NOTHING else but comment the part doing that job.
Please, can you tell me your IP at the moment of testing ?
